The Young - (DE)

Tim Young, born in Bad Oeynhausen in 1972, grew up in Minden, made his first experiments in the late eighties, rediscovered the medium for himself in 2002 and has been working under the pseudonym theYOUNG in Bielefeld ever since.

In 2016, theYOUNG decided to break with stencils in the conventional sense to a large extent, and since then has been working with a technique that allows a transparent representation of the respective subject and its components and in which the motifs are created by overlapping semi-transparent color surfaces.

theYOUNG prefers to work on found and disposable materials and (for technical reasons) with fluorescent paints.
